The British Cycling Tour series took place on Tuesday 10 May 2022
Britain's leading men's and women's teams battled it out for glory around the roads of Mowbray Park on Tuesday 10 May as part of the UK's most prestigious televised domestic cycling series, and what a fantastic evening of sport it was!
An evening of top quality sporting action and a family-friendly activities was enjoyed by all. It included a host of family activities in Mowbray Park including our static cycling challenge , an incredible bicycle stunt display from 3SIXTY and a selection of fun outdoor games.
In 2021 the race attracted a crowd of 5,000 people and saw eventual women's series champions CAMS - Basso and men's runners-up Canyon dhb SunGod take the victories in the unique team-based format. The event generated over £70,000 for the local economy.
