Love Lily Tearoom & Bakery

Love Lily Tea Room and Bakery is a delightful tea room and bakery located along the scenic Roker seafront. Serving everything from sandwiches and brunch to cakes and pastries, it's a great spot to grab a bite to eat.

Mad Hatter Café

A quaint little tea shop en route to the beach resort of Seaburn which is ideal for mad hatter tea parties. It specialises in home-made meals, cakes and tasty delights. Close to Seaburn metro and independent boutiques and shops.

Mama's Italian Kitchen

A fantastic selection of Italian and English dishes are on offer. A la Carte, Happy Hour and takeaway menus are available to suit any tastes. The restaurant has a separate lounge and bar area and can cater for parties and events.

Marina Vista Ristorante

Located on the third floor of the Marine Activity Centre, this is a great place to sate your appetite, especially if you have been involved in all the water-sports the centre has to offer. With floor to ceiling windows this is the ideal spot to relax and unwind with stunning views across the Marina.

Moti Raj

Established in 1974, this long running and busy restaurant is situated close to Sunderland Empire, ideal for pre-theatre meals. Nandos

The famous chain of restaurants for peri-peri chicken dishes is located next door to the Empire Cinemas at Sunniside. Oak Tree Farm

This family-friendly pub situated at Doxford International Business Park, approx. 5 miles from the city centre serves pub classics and a traditional carvery. The pub has an indoor play area for children located within the dining area. The Oak Tree Farm pub also offers a unique Cakeaway, a cabinet full of tempting home-made cakes just waiting to be taken home to be enjoyed in your own time.

Panda Oriental Buffet

Sunderland's biggest all you can eat buffet, serving over eighty varieties of chinese dishes. It is fully licensed and sells a selection of wines and beers with seating for over 250 people. Party bookings are very welcome.

Poetic License Bar

A large popular bar on the seafront, located at the Roker Hotel, with a great atmosphere. It serves soul food and a varied range of delicious cocktails and craft beers. The bar is also home to its own gin distillery in the back of the bar.

Ever wanted to browse vinyl record collections, admire paintings, drawings, sculptures from local artists and have one of the best cups of coffee in Sunderland all at the same time? Now you can. Pop Recs Ltd is an independent record shop, which also has an art gallery, shop and steaming cups of coffee.
